Democrats: Teri Harkins, Lee Nyquist, Pete Ryder
-Teri, Lee, and Pete all plan to work together to lower property taxes and support robust education through the local public schools. They oppose the downshifting from the past decade and will keep Concord accountable for its committments and obligations, including that of funding public schools. They are open and willing to discuss issues with the community so they can represent all their constituents in office.
Republicans: Lisa Post, Gerald Griffin, Rob Lovett
-While in office, Lisa Post voted to raise property taxes in District 42 by cutting taxes for big out-of-state corporations while also voting to cut $51 million from key health care, mental health, and substance misuse services — driving up medical bills and making our neighborhoods less safe. She is is making it harder to keep her district safe from deadly gun violence —especially our kids, teachers, and healthcare workers. Lastly, she she wants to defund our public schools and send our resources to private and parochial schools instead, which have no oversight or regulations.
- In office Gerald Griffin has voted against the interests of his district’s working families at nearly every turn — failing to increase public-school aid, opposing affordable housing while rents hit record highs and statewide single-family home prices set a record in July 2026, siding with big business over everyday costs like healthcare and childcare, and opposing a resolution affirming women’s right to abortion before 24 weeks. He also has publicly backed eliminating state arts funding. In terms of gun control, he is making it harder for public colleges and universities to set firearm rules to protect their students, teachers, and healthcare workers from deadly gun violence.
